世纪研学课程
实践育人，让研学之花绽放出“实”的美丽，我校高中部国高班走出校园，在研学过程中接近自然、体验职业、了解社会、认识世界，进行特定学科或跨学科的主题学习、探究、实践。在各种各样的领域中选择感兴趣的进一步提升自我认知、深化前期专业探索、培养团队协作与合作探究能力。
Adhering to the principle that hand-on experience would make education come alive, students in the International Department walks out of the campus and conduct specific or interdisciplinary themed learning and experience, approaching nature, touching upon occupations, fathoming society, and precepting the world. They choose from a variety of fields of interest to further improve self-awareness, deepen professional exploration in the early stage, and cultivate teamwork and cooperative exploration capabilities.
成都蜀锦织绣博物馆
On January 18, 2021, teachers and students in the international department of senior high went to Chengdu Shu Brocade Weaving and Embroidery Museum to carry out research activities and explore the Shu embroidery culture.
学习蜀地织锦文化、了解随着朝代更迭，蜀织锦的发展历程、观摩精通全套蜀锦手工织造技艺的传承人贺斌大师编织蜀锦、动手尝试体验我国非物质文化中的瑰宝。
They learned about the brocade culture in Shu, understood the development of Shu brocade with the change of dynasties, watched Master He Bin, the inheritor of the full set of Shu brocade hand-weaving skills, weave Shu brocade, and tried to experience the treasures of my country's intangible culture.
学校成立特色社团——蜀绣社团，这是美术学科与校本课程《蜀蚕吐绣》进行整合而产生的一个新型社团，将艺术教育教学内容与学校特色课程有机融合在一起。传承蜀锦文化，弘扬我国的文化瑰宝。把我们的中国传统文化带向世界文化舞台。
To inherit the culture of Shu Brocade, carry forward the cultural treasures of our country and to bring our traditional Chinese culture to the world cultural stage, the school has established a special club, the Shu Embroidery Club, which is a new type of school club resulting from the integration of the art discipline and the school-based curriculum "Shu Silkworm Spitting Embroidery" and which organically integrates the teaching content of art education with the school's characteristic courses.

On April 13, 2021, all the students of the International Department of our school went to Chengdu Radio and TV Station to start their professional experience in the TV station.
电视台工作人员带领全体学生参观了电视台编辑机房、审片室、演播室等场所，为同学们详细讲解电视节目制作流程和审核机制。同学们在策划、编导、摄像、剪辑、电视包装这些方面有了更进一步的了解，同时也跟随电视台的老师进行了实地采访学习。了解电视台专业技能和新闻敏感度以及合作精神、承受压力的能力等各方面的综合素质。
The staff of the TV station led all the students to visit the editing room, review room, studio and other places of the TV station, and explained the TV program production process and review mechanism in detail to the students. The students had a better understanding of planning, directing, filming, editing, and TV packaging, and they also followed the teachers of the TV station to conduct on-the-spot interviews and learning. This immersive experience enabled them to grasp the comprehensive quality of TV station professional skills, news sensitivity, cooperation spirit, and the ability to withstand pressure and other aspects.
同学们纷纷表示，深入电视台一线的学习实践让自己大开眼界、受益颇多、对专业能力的巩固和提高有较大促进，并建立了浓厚的学习兴趣与热情。
The students expressed that the deep learning and practice of the TV station has opened their eyes and rendered huge benefits, helping them to greatly promote the consolidation and their professional abilities and to establish a strong interest and enthusiasm for learning.
职业体验活动让学生们对不同的职业有更多的体会和认识，提高他们今后对专业的选择、理解及服务社会的能力，帮助学生规划好自己的人生理想。
Career experience activities allowed students to have more experience and understanding of different careers, improved their ability to choose majors, understand and serve the society in the future, and helped students plan their ideals in life.

蒙顶山采茶
On the 20th of May in 2021, the senior high students of Chengdu 21st Century School stepped into Mengding Mountain, playing the role as Tea Sommelier, experiencing the joy of picking tea, appreciating performances of tea art, learning tea craftsmanship and exploring tea culture.
以研学旅行为抓手，以茶文化及红色文化为指引，将红色教育及茶文化与学校教育相结合。“寻访红色足迹”活动中，孩子们重走“长征路”，参观红军碑林、红军百丈关战役纪念馆，加深同学们对红军长征精神的认知，弘扬和传承革命精神。
With the research-based journey being the starting point, and tea and red culture being the guide, there is a compatible combination of tea culture and school education. In the "Searching for the Red Footprints" activity, students repeated the "Long March Road" ,and visited the Red Army Stele Forest and the Red Army Baizhangguan Battle Memorial Hall, which deepened their' understanding of the Red Army's Long March Spirit, igniting their inner desire for carrying forward this revolutionary spirit.

On September 16 th, 2021, all the students of the International Department of our school embarked upon a practicality-driven learning in chengdu base of Cnfinance, which was a highly intriguing activity demanding financial knowledge. Via the experience, students learned about the the entrepreneurial history of the company founder and studying financial management. Meanwhile, their comprehension of finance was enhanced through the participation in a fun game related to cash flow.
同学们通过在游戏中学习财务知识，通过⻆色扮演和投掷骰子的方式来决定自己经历的人生体验，通过购买股票、房产，做慈善等支配现金流。将理论知识融合在实践中，提升了同学们的学习兴趣和研学体验感，同时也培养了同学们的财商意识。
Students acquired financial knowledge by playing the game, deciding theirown destiny through role-play game and dice throwing. They manipulated cash flow via purchasing stocks, real estates, and charity activities. The integration of theoretical knowledge into practice enhanced students' interest in learning and grossly contributed to engagement, and meanwhile, cultivated their' awareness of financial quotient.
此次研学是一次很好的财商教育课，通过此次研学，同学们能够正确看待金钱，正确使用金钱，将“金融知识的学习”深化为“财富观念的更新”、“品格教育的融入”，在体验中培养学生的金融素养，增强其适应未来经济社会发展的能力。
This research journey plays a vital role in imparting financial knowledge. Through the learning process, students learn how to treat money rationally and spend it wisely, which translates " the learning of financial knowledge" into " the upgradation of wealth concept " and " the permeation of character education. ”, cultivating their financial literacy and optimizing their adaptability to future economic and social development

On October 17th , 2021, the seniors in the International Department of our school went to the headquarter school-Beijing 21st Century School for practical learning, where they joined their counterparts there for morning jogging, classes, extra-curricular activities, etc. Being surrounded by a group of like-minded peers, it was not long before they assimilated into the whole learning environment, which offered them both a brand new experience and compliments from teachers there.

哈工大机器人集团
On the 24th of March, Senior high students of the International Department in the 21st Century School went on a field trip to Chengdu base of the Robot Group Affiliated with Harbin Institute of Technology. Students were allowed to approach the robots for the exploration of mysteries behind, learn the theories and mechanism of robots used for various purposes, experience robotic manipulation, interact with human-robot and assemble their own mini vehicle capable of autonomous navigation.
此次研学之行，帮助学生了解相关结构和原理知识。在“玩中学，学中玩”，调动学生们的参与性，激发其对科技的兴趣。给对编程和人工智能学科感兴趣的学子一次接近“梦想”的机会，看到了编程和研究性学习可以通过科技的力量成为给社会带来便利的产品。学生们更加坚定了自己的理想信念，为实现科技兴国贡献自己的力量。
Via the learning process, our students stand a good chance of visualizing the Distant Dream, understanding how the combination of programming and task-based learning, empowered by science, could be translated into products generating long-term social benefits. All of these helps to solidify students’ faith of playing their own part in pushing forward national rejuvenation with science and technology.

建川博物馆
On December 14, 2021, the 21st Century High School started a research trip to the Jianchuan Museum with the theme of "Recalling the magnificent revolution history of China and Creating the Future Together". It was a great way for students to pursue the China-founding history together and let the revolutionary spirit pass on generation by generation.
“弘扬抗战精神，凝聚民族力量”，国高生们参观抗战博物馆体验钻地道、了解国防兵器坐坦克、走进汶川大地震纪念馆。通过这次研学活动，弘扬革命优秀的精神，让学生们了解到，作为一名当代青年，即代表未来，有义务将祖国的历史，融进我们的血液里，传承红色革命精神。
In order to promoting the Anti-War spirit and gathering national strength, high school students visited the Anti-Japanese War Museum to experience tunnel drilling, learned about national defense weapons such as operating tanks, and visited the Wenchuan Earthquake Memorial Hall.

川菜博物馆
On March 28, 2022, students from the International Department went to the Sichuan Cuisine Museum to have a good taste of Sichuan cuisine.
走进典藏馆，了解川菜的制作发展历史，漫步美食街道，打卡可以吃的博物馆，手工DIY冰墩墩，尽享美食之宴，学习祭拜礼仪，体验磨豆花，学习古蜀文明的智慧结晶。
They were able to acquire the history of Sichuan cuisine production, DIY handmade Dwen Dwen, enjoy the food feast, learn the worship etiquette, experience grinding beans, and learn the wisdom of ancient Shu civilization through the field trip.
本次活动中，同学们在感受川菜魅力的同时培养了动手能力、合作能力；在用“眼”用“耳”，动“口”动“手”的同时，接受食俗文化的洗礼，享受美食文化传承间，激起的是同学们对家乡的热爱！
In this activity, the students developed their sills of how to make something by themselves and how to cooperate with others. Besides, the bond to their hometown was dramatically strengthened during this activity.

Field study is an extension and supplement of having classes in traditional classrooms. Each trip is a beneficial and joyful educational experience for the students of International Department. Via these various field trips, students truly realized that they can apply what they have learned to practice, and their abilities and potentials can be stimulated to cope with unexpected things that may happen in future.
